3200 Pte James McDonald was born in
Auchterarder, Perthshire and gave his trade
as a weaver when he enlisted March 11, 1852 .
At the time of enlistment in Perth he was age
18 and 5’6 3/4”and was paid a bounty of £4
He also served in the Crimea and was one of
seven wounded at Sebastopol on Aug 10, 1855.
He was discharged Oct 29, 1862.
